Vivek R. Golani

I am a second-year Master’s student in Computer Science at Stony Brook University, advised by Prof. Dimitris Samaras. My research interests lie in the areas of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Software Development. I enjoy developing software, especially when it involves training neural networks to make human life better. Prior to joining Stony Brook, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani.

Outside of academia, I have been lucky to gain professional experience at Zebra, Qualcomm and Piramal, a global pharmaceutical headquartered in India. I am an enthusiastic learner and my previous work has equipped me with skills across various domains in Computer Science.
